Ordering

How do I place an order online?

To place an order, click the "add to bag" link next to a product and then click on the "go to checkout" link to begin the order process. The site will guide you through the necessary steps. HOW TO SHOP ONLINE?

Shopping at muglerusa.com: an overview

 

Find your products. Use our search engine. For product information, click on the product page for reviews, ingredients and details about the range.

Add the product to your shopping bag. Select size or form as required and then click the "Add to bag" icon. A window will appear confirming the product has been added to your bag. You can then continue shopping and browsing the website. To view the contents of your shopping bag, click on "View Shopping bag." Please note that online purchases are limited to three pieces of any one product. If you wish to get more than three pieces, please contact our call center at 877-843-7968 from 9:30am to 6:30pm EST Monday - Friday (except Holidays).

View your shopping bag. You can access your shopping bag at any time by clicking the "shopping bag" icon at the top right of every page. You can modify quantities and add or delete items. When you are ready to purchase, click the “Go to checkout” button and read our Terms and Conditions carefully.

Place your order. Once your order has been submitted, a "Thank You" page will be displayed to confirm the reception of your order. An email confirmation and receipt will also be sent shortly after your order was submitted. If your order confirmation does not arrive within 24 hours of submission, please contact us by phone at 1-877-843-7968 (9:30am to 6:30pm EST Monday - Friday, except Holidays) or via the contact form.

All products at Muglerusa.com are available for sale in the U.S.A. If an item is out of stock, you will not be able to add it to your shopping basket, but it may be available in a store near you. You can find your nearest stockists using our Store Locator.
If a product becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you by email. We will only charge you for products you receive.

 

Samples

 

Don't forget your complimentary samples! During checkout you can choose up to five samples you would like packed with your order. Your samples will be automatically added to your shopping bag and you will see them listed along with your merchandise on the "Order Confirmation" page. If your order is not completed during this visit, the samples will be removed from your shopping bag and may no longer be available. Products and gifts are not redeemable for cash. If you do not want any samples just click on " Continue to shipping" without choosing samples and go directly to your shipping information.

Due to the limited nature of free samples, we regret we are unable to reship samples if they arrive damaged, if you received the wrong one, or if one is missing from your order. Samples are shipped with merchandise purchases ONLY.

 

Promotion Codes

There is a specific alphanumeric code associated with each online promotion that you can use to redeem the promotion. There may be a minimum merchandise purchase requirement (taxes and shipping are excluded). Please note e-Gift Cards are not considered merchandise and do not count towards the minimum purchase requirement. Enter the full code in the "promotion code" field in the "Order Summary "on the "Shopping bag" page or during the checkout process. You will see the promotion reflected in your shopping bag on the "Order confirmation" page. Promotion codes may be case sensitive. All promotion codes are available for a limited time, while supplies last and cannot be use once expired.

 

Special Offers and Gifts

Special offers are available in the "Special Offers" section of the site, including box sets and special Internet offers. In the “Gifts” section you can choose form exclusive beauty sets and bundles. Please see terms and condition on special offers page more specific to the promotion. Mugler reserves the right to cancel an order(s) in the event of promotional misuse or suspicious activity. The customer will be contacted to advise if their order has been cancelled due to this reason.

Free complimentary Samples

With every merchandise order (except Sample Bar) at Muglerusa.com, you have the opportunity to receive up to 5 free samples of your choice. You can view the selection of available samples during checkout. After you have selected up to 5 samples, your samples will be automatically added to your shopping bag. If your order is not completed during this visit, the samples will be removed from your shopping bag and may no longer be available. Due to the limited nature of the free samples, we regret that we are unable to reship samples if they arrive damaged, if you received the wrong one, or if one is missing from your order. Substitutions will be made for out of stock samples. Only one of each sample can be added per order. These products and gifts are not redeemable for cash. If you do not wish to receive any sample, just click on “Continue to Shipping” at the bottom of the “Samples” list without choosing samples and go directly to checkout.

Why is my phone number required?

A contact phone number is required by most shipping carriers in the event of issues relating to your order. We will only use this information to respond to your requests and/or contact you, if necessary, about your order.

Can I ship my order to an address other than my home address?

When placing an order you may enter a separate delivery address.
The order will be delivered to the address indicated.
The "My Account" area also offers an address book feature, allowing you to save different delivery addresses.

Can I ship my order outside the U.S?

Muglerusa.com delivers to all addresses and PO boxes within the contiguous 48 states (including MPOs and APOs). Limited overnight delivery options are available to some addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. Delivery to international addresses is currently not available.

How long will my order take to arrive?

MUGLER ships all packages with UPS:

- Economy - FREE with any order in the US (Value: $5): UPS SurePost (6-8 business days). UPS SurePost does not deliver to commercial addresses

- Standard - $8.00: UPS Ground (3-5 business days)

- 2nd Day - $15.00: (UPS 2nd Day (Order by 12:30PM EST) – Note this shipping method can be called expressed sometimes.

- Overnight - $20.00: (UPS Overnight (Order by 12:30PM EST)

INFORMATION ABOUT SHIPPING

We offer Free Economy Shipping on any order all year long.

Your order will be prepared by the logistics center located in Orangeburg, NY (United States), and then dispatched by UPS. Your order will reach you within 1 to 8 days.

An order can be delivered to one address only. If you require sending orders to multiple addresses you will need to place a separate order for each address.

To ensure that there are no mistakes with addresses and to check that our shipping company has all the correct details, we use a system that verifies your address using your postcode.When the warehouse has prepared and packed your order and it is ready to be shipped, you will be receiving a Shipment Confirmation e-mail in your inbox. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days after placing the order online. The e-mail contains the details of your shipment as well as a tracking number to use the UPS website to track your order.

All orders shipping to a PO Box do not qualify for Economy, 2nd day and Overnight shipping. Orders using a PO Box address will be shipped through UPS Surepost.

Orders are typically delivered by the end of the second business day after they are shipped.

Your order will be shipped after your credit has been approved and/or any other necessary verification has been completed. To be shipped the same day, your order must be submitted and such approval and verifications completed by no later than 1 pm Eastern Standard Time. All other orders will be shipped in 1-2 business days from the day that credit approval and/or other verifications are completed, unless the same takes place after 1 pm Eastern Standard Time, in which case the order will be shipped on the following business day.

Some locations in Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas may require additional transit time.

  • Overnight (1 Business Day): $20

When you place an order at Mugler.com, we encode your information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This is the most advanced consumer online security technique to date. You can be assured that your order will be placed safely and securely. Your bank details are SSL encrypted and will never be kept or stored on the website without your consent.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

If payment is declined, please contact your bank or credit card company first. Authorization is between our banking provider and your financial institution. When will a payment be deducted from my account?

Your credit card will be charged only when your order is shipped. You may see a temporary authorization on your account; this is replaced by the actual charge upon shipment.

Once you click the "Submit order” button your order is submitted for processing. We try and fulfill orders within 1-2 business days.

Where do I find my order number?

Your order number is in the confirmation email, in the My Account area in the section Order History and in the printed documents accompanying your shipment.

How can I check the status of my delivery?

Once you have confirmed your order on our site, you will receive two emails. The first confirms your order has been received; this is also your receipt. The second email is sent as soon as your order has been picked up by the shipping carrier. It contains detailed shipping information and the tracking number for your order. You can check the status of your delivery by clicking on the “Tracking code” link. If you are registered you can also track the status of your order from your own personal area in "My Orders" section.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a confirmation email from MUGLER after your order is received. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours please call us at 1-877-843-7968 (9:30am to 6:30pm EST, except Holidays).

You will receive an e-mail when your order is shipped, containing tracking information for your package. If you have a MUGLER registration, you can track the status of your order from your own personal area by clicking on “My orders” on the “My account” section. Returns Information

We wish to ensure your complete satisfaction every time you shop at Muglerusa.com. We will gladly accept the return of any unused item purchased on Muglerusa.com within 30 days of purchase. We cannot accept items that have been opened unless the product is damaged or defective.   • Item(s) must be returned to us, unopened and in original packaging, with all accessories, within 30 days of the shipping date.

  • Refunds are made to the original form of payment, with the exception of e Gift Cards, in which case a new electronic Gift Card will be emailed to the original recipient.

HOW TO BUY AN E-GIFT CARD?

MUGLER e-Gift Cards can be ordered in any amount starting at $5. They are sent, via e-mail, to any individual with a valid e-mail address. The recipient of an e-Gift Card will receive an e-mail with a redeemable promotional code to be used only at www.muglerusa.com. The code will be activated within 24 business hours after receiving the e-mail.

To access our e-Gift Card page just click on the “e-Gift Card” link in the menu. Follow the step-by-step instructions and provide the information required to make your purchase.

1) An order confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.

2) An e-mail confirming that a MUGLER e-Gift Card has been sent by you, will be sent to the person for whom you've made the purchase.

E-Gift Cards are activated and ready to use as soon as the recipient registers and logs in as an account member and validates his or her card number.

REDEEMING AN E-GIFT CARD

E-Gift Cards purchased on Muglerusa.com may only be redeemed online and cannot be redeemed in our Mugler's retail stores or any other retail store locations.

To redeem your E Gift Card, please follow these steps:

1) Register or sign into your account on www.muglerusa.com. This is necessary in order to activate and validate your e-Gift Card and ensure its authenticity.

2) Select the items you wish to purchase on www.muglerusa.com

3) Proceed to checkout, following the step-by-step instructions.

4) When you reach the Billing Page during checkout, please enter your e-Gift Card number in the corresponding field and click on “Apply”.

5) Your e-Gift Card balance will automatically be applied to your purchase. If your order total exceeds your balance, you will be asked for a valid credit card.

6) Click "Pay now" as the final step in the checkout process.

Is Thierry Mugler personally involved in the creation of his perfumes?

All MUGLER perfumes, ancillaries and accessories are initially inspired by the creator himself. He provides the creative impulse, then follows up on each project, giving each creation his easily recognizable style and absolute desire for perfection.

What is the difference between an Eau de Toilette, an Eau de Cologne and an Eau de Parfum?

They all contain a concentrate of perfume, with alcohol and water. The different terms correspond to the quantity of perfume in the concentrate as a percentage, as follows: 16% to 25% for "Parfum"; 11 to 15% for an "Eau de Parfum"; 6% to 10% for an "Eau de Toilette"; and 3% to 4% for an "Eau de Cologne."

Is MUGLER Cologne for men or women?

MUGLER Cologne is a universal fragrance that can be used by both men and women. It is inspired from the original colognes dating to the 14th century, which were known for their miraculous virtues.

Does MUGLER Cologne stand up well on the skin?

The raw materials used in the composition of MUGLER Cologne play an essential role in the olfactory durability of this creation. Its concentration (10 degrees as opposed to the traditional 5 degrees in a classic Eau de Cologne) also adds to its exceptional presence. The result is a persistent accord, a harmonious balance between freshness and energy, as well as a sensation of cleanliness and sensuality.

How can I spot fake MUGLER perfume?

There are many ways to help you determine whether your product is genuine. This page on the MUGLER website shows you a number of ways you can see whether a product is authentic or not. But the best way to ensure you only receive genuine MUGLER products is to:

Are your products tested on animals?

Our laboratories conduct no tests on animals. Our products are tested, under dermatological supervision, only on human volunteers.

How do I know if my bottle is refillable?

The word "Refillable" appears on your bottle if it is refillable. It's also mentioned online in the description of the fragrance. Angel, Angel Muse, Alien, Amen, Womanity and Aura are refillable.

How can I refill my refillable bottle?

There are three ways to refill your bottle. You can do it at The Source, which can be found in selected stores stocking our products. Our Store Locator can help you find the stores with a Source. Our simple, reusable The Source bottles allow you to refill your bottle yourself at home. Finally you can use our Angel, Angel Muse, Alien, Amen, Womanity and Aura eco-refills, exclusively available from the MUGLER Online Boutique.

I refilled my bottle at a Source, and the perfume now seems different. Is this normal?

The Source and the bottles contain exactly the same fragrances. They are filled from the same production units and undergo the same olfactory quality control. However, if your perception of the perfume has changed slightly, this may be due to several factors, such as the method of application (the olfactory effect of perfume is different depending on whether it is sprayed or applied onto the skin), the ambient temperature, or even becoming accustomed to it.

The spray system on my refillable star has broken. What should I do?

If after a certain number of refills, the spray system of your bottle becomes damaged, contact MUGLER Consumer Relations at 1 (866) 868 4537 from 9:30am to 6:30pm EST Monday - Friday EST (except Holidays) or by email at customerservice@muglerstoreusa.com.

My cap isn't working, what can you do?

Circle Clients can get a replacement cap if their bottle cap is faulty or damaged.

Write to the ""Celestial Concierge"" using the link in the Circle area. You can also call 1 (866) 868 4537 (9:30am to 6:30pm EST Monday - Friday EST (except Holidays)) New caps are not available in store.

 

Is it the same perfume in the A*Men Metal and Rubber sprays?

It is indeed the same fragrance. By giving A*Men a new Rubber "armor", MUGLER simply wanted to provide a new sensual pleasure from the contact with this material.

My metal A*Men spray bottle is stained. What can I do?

Because the Metal A*Men spray is covered with zamac, it can become tarnished. We advise you to polish it with a household product designed for use on metals. But if the stains remain, you can send it back to Consumer Relations, where our team will make it as good as new.

Why isn't the A*Men Rubber spray refillable?

Rubber is an unusual material, which MUGLER chose for its originality and its pleasure to the touch. However, this material is not suited to being refilled, because glass does not slide over gum. If the technology of modeling this material one day makes this possible, the A*Men Rubber spray will of course become refillable.

Why is A*Men called Angel*Men in some countries? Are they different perfumes?

In Canada, and some other countries, A*Men is indeed called Angel*Men, even though the fragrance is exactly the same. It is purely for legal reasons that the use of the name A*Men is not possible in these countries.

How are fragrances engraved?

MUGLER Parfums offers a unique service which allows you to personalize your favorite fragrance bottles and keep them forever! Perfume bottles are engraved by machine. We do not offer color engraving. All engravings are frosted only.

 

What can I engrave on my fragrance?

Your bottle will be engraved in the Univers font. You can use both upper case and lower case letters as well as numbers and punctuation. You can also personalize your engraved perfume with one or several pictograms from the choices offered. Unfortunately, we cannot engrave any personal pictogram.

The number of characters you can engrave depends on the fragrance you want to personalize. It varies between 13 and 45 characters.

Please note each pictogram is equivalent to two characters.

 

The engraving will be located approximately as shown on the image on the product page. The color (white or black) of the product page image is used for preview only, and the product page image of engraving is for illustrative purposes only.

 

How long does it take to engrave a fragrance?

Please allow at least one extra day for processing. Please note that in busy periods engraving can delay processing by up to two days.

 

What is the charge for engraving?

Engraving is free with the purchase of any MUGLER engravable bottle. Engraved bottles cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

 

What is the return, refund and exchange policy for engraved bottles?

Please check your message (spelling and icons) carefully before adding the product to your shopping bag and processing payment. Engraved bottles cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

 

How do I know which fragrances can be engraved?

Please click on this link to access the 'engraving' page for the list of bottles which can be engraved. Fragrances can be engraved only at the time of purchase at www.muglerusa.com. Unfortunately, we cannot engrave a previously purchased bottle, even if it was purchased from our website.

What is the Source?

The manufacturing of our perfumes is controlled by the quality criteria of the Haute Parfumerie Française. These are extremely strict controls of the raw materials, the fragrance itself, and the packaging.

How do I create an account?

Signing up is fast and easy. Simply click the register link in the Sign In/Register area, at the top right of the website, enter your personal details and click "Create an account". We also recommend you click on "create an account & join the Circle" to join our loyalty program and benefit from your product purchases. Being a member of the Circle also gives you access to exclusive content and special member-only prices (applicable from the second purchase). Click here to create an account.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Register at My Account for access to the following benefits:

  • Ease of use: save your personal information, and access your order history, recently viewed products to speed the re-order process.

    WHAT IS A UNIQUE CODE?

    A Unique Code is an 11-character code (e.g NHTSX9HZ9JC) printed on the inside flap of your MUGLER product box. Registering Unique Codes allows our Circle members to receive surprises throughout the year.

    HOW DO I REGISTER MY UNIQUE CODE?

    You can register your Unique Codes directly through the MUGLER website. It's fast and easy: once you’ve created your account and joined the Circle, simply go to Register my Unique Code. You can also declare your Unique Code by mailing us the card provided in each product package. Simply fill out the required information and mail it to Customer Service to be processed. Once we’ve received your card and registered your purchase, we will send you an email to inform you that your purchase has been registered. You can also consult your registrations history, simply go to "My codes and receipts history" section on your online Profile.

    I SENT A UNIQUE CODE BY MAIL. AM I A CIRCLE MEMBER?

    An online account is required to become a Circle member. If you sent us a Unique Code by mail and you do not have an account, we will create one for you. You will receive an email inviting you to confirm the creation of your account and join the Circle. If you have sent us a Unique Code but didn’t receive your confirmation email or didn’t provide your email address, feel free to call us at 1 (866)868 4537 or email us at circle@usa.mugler.net. We’ll be happy to help.

    MY UNIQUE CODE ISN’T WORKING

    Make sure you enter your Unique Code in capital letters with no spaces. Make sure you do not mistake a 5 (five) for an S, a 2 (two) for a Z, or a 0 (zero) for a D.     MY PRODUCT DOESN'T HAVE A UNIQUE CODE

    E-gift cards, Addict box, travel size products and the samples bar do not have Unique Codes: you will not be rewarded when you purchase these items. All other MUGLER products should have a Unique Code. If you can’t locate the Unique Code on your product, feel free to call us at 1 (866) 868 4537 (9:30am to 6:30pm EST (except Holidays) or email us at circle@usa.mugler.net. We’ll be happy to help.

    WHY IS MY UNIQUE CODE SCRATCHED, BLACKED OUT OR CUT?

    Are you sure your product comes from a certified retailer? If the product was purchased from an unauthorized retailer or through the grey market, it will typically be missing the Unique Code. Call us at 1 (866) 868 4537 (9:30am to 6:30pm EST (except Holidays)) or email us at circle@usa.mugler.net. We’ll be happy to help.

    I RECEIVED AN E-COMMERCE CELESTIAL COUPON. HOW CAN I USE IT?

    You have been rewarded for your loyalty and received by email an exclusive discount code. To use your coupon, simply go to Muglerusa.com and apply your discount code to your basket at checkout. Be aware that your voucher may not be combinable with specific E-commerce running promotions.

    I REFILLED MY FRAGRANCE AT THE SOURCE. HOW CAN I REGISTER THIS PURCHASE?

    When refilling your fragrance at the Source, you won’t receive a Unique Code. In that case, just upload a JPG or PNG photograph of your Refill purchase receipt online. Go to Register my Unique Code to upload a Refill receipt. You can also declare Source refills by mailing us your proof of purchase, you will have to provide a valid email address. Once we’ve received your receipt and validated your purchase, you will receive an email informing you that the purchase has been registered. You can also consult your registrations history on your online account, simply go to "My codes and receipts history" area on your online account.

    I PURCHASED A MUGLER PRODUCT IN STORE. HOW DO I REGISTER MY UNIQUE CODE?

    If you have an online account, simply go to Register my Unique Code to be rewarded for your purchase. If you don't have an account, it's easy to create one.
